Usually a Pixelmon/Cobblemon-style server where new players are guaranteed a shiny starter Pokémon (or can pick one) when they begin, instead of the normal starter selection. It’s basically a starter perk/gimmick that makes early progression and trading a bit different because everyone starts with a rare-looking mon.
