Servers with this tag add biomes that don’t exist in vanilla, usually through datapacks or plugins that change worldgen. You’ll typically see new terrain shapes, custom blocks or vegetation palettes, and sometimes biome-specific mobs or structures, mainly to make exploration and survival feel different from standard worlds.
