This upcoming server network by GxnzGott is still in development and has made very good progress so far. The first gamemode "Freebuild" is almost completely playable.

While this is mainly a german server, speaking english is not prohibited. We welcome everyone that follows the rules. There is a language translation function planned in the future to further support non-german speaking members.

The network is almost ready for beta-testing, so please join the discord. Once we've reached a good amount of members, we'll start the Closed Beta.

The MAJORITY of Plugins are self-programmed by me, so once we can actually test the server with more players during the Beta-Release, we might find bugs, since I'm still learning. But hey, that's what the Beta is here for.

About GoatMC

Currently, the only gamemode is Freebuild. A gamemode that is rarely seen anywhere as of now in the GOOD PvP-Version which is 1.8.9.

What might interest you in general (outside of Freebuild)?

• We are NOT another boring-a## Citybuild Server, we are (at least in the future) a 1.8.9 Minigame-Servernetwork

• Clan-System (gains importance in the future -> Clan-Wars/PvP-Events)

• Friend-System

• Stats-System for every gamemode

• servers are free of lag (at least I hope so)

• good anti-cheat (incoming)

• chatfilter can be turned off to actually use and laugh about dark humor in chat, without getting muted.

• We do NOT have a Chest-System which players can waste their money on (since this would be P2W anyways). We might introduce another form of a Chest-System that is related with the Voting-System or the In-Game-Currency.

• a server owner that actually responds and listens to its player-base instead of chasing money with overpriced ranks or chests.

Is this Server P2W?

Answer: Since I myself hate P2W -> NO, GoatMC is definitley not a Pay-To-Win Server.

Freebuild is kept Vanilla-style, yet there are some "advantages" that players with ranks can have, such as being able to set more homes, or being able to unlock a bigger Enderchest. They do NOT gain more money or get better items or anything that affects combat or general stats. They only unlock cool/useful features for themselves (that are worth the price).

What is Freebuild?

FREEBUILD » Freebuild is an endless gamemode that creates a harsh survival environment since it has no rules against griefing, chasing players or anything like that. After walking 500 blocks away from spawn, you can play Minecraft normally -> go mining, go building, go mob-hunting. Do what you like. But we highly recommend to build your base underground, because once a player finds you, your base is probably looted and griefed. That is why this mode is so exciting. It shares the hardcore survival aspect of the Steam-Game Rust: hoping that your base still stands when you log on the next day.

SPAWN » The Spawn (Inside) is the only safe spot in the entire gamemode. It serves as a place to meet and trade with other players. 50 blocks away from Spawn-Point there is a bedrock border that marks the beginning of the unprotected zone (unprotected as in: PvP is enabled).

SYSTEMS » To support the gamemode's function and fun-factor, there are systems like a Home-System (/home), so that you can teleport to your base anytime. A Teleport-System (/tpa), so you can meet up with players. An Enderchest-System (/ec), so that you can storage important items in there without needing an actual enderchest. An Economy-System, which introduces a currency "Coins" to make trading easier. For Combat there is an Anti-Spawncamp and Anti-Combatlogging System implemented to ensure fairness.

YOUR GOAL? » Have fights at Spawn and become the #1 All-Time or Monthly. Become rich by trading and grinding a lot? I don't know, it's up to you buddy.

Disclaimer: FREEBUILD IS NOT AN ANARCHY SERVER LIKE 2B2T. USING CHEATS OR ANY OTHER PROGRAM THAT GIVES YOU AN UNFAIR GAMEPLAY-ADVANTAGE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AND LEADS TO A PERMANENT BAN.

I wanted to revive this gamemode in this version, because I can not find it anywhere else in this form. It's so simple and fun as fuck if you have many players.

Release?

The Network is planned to release somewhere in December 2025, the date might change depending on the development status.
