Roleplay factions servers mix faction territory and group PvP with in-character rules. Players form factions with names, ranks, and lore, handle diplomacy and wars through RP, and usually have rules against random killing and out-of-character chat in certain areas. The focus is on building a faction identity and story while still doing claims, raids, and politics.
