Servers that use 1.8-style PvP instead of the 1.9+ cooldown system, usually with no attack cooldown, different hit timing/knockback, and old item/block behavior. Common on PvP modes like practice, kitpvp, factions, and minigames, often running modern versions with a combat plugin or running 1.8 outright.
