Servers focused on pre-1.9 style combat (often called 1.8 PvP): fast click-based sword fights, no shields, no attack cooldowns, and usually no sweeping. They either run older versions or use plugins to mimic that combat on newer versions, and commonly show up in duels, kitpvp, factions, and practice servers.
