Servers with this tag run with higher hostile mob spawn rates or larger spawn packs than vanilla, so nights and caves are more dangerous and you end up fighting more often. It’s usually done via datapacks/plugins that tweak spawn caps, spawn weights, or spawner behavior to make survival harder.
