Servers tagged Eaglercraft are set up to be playable from the Eaglercraft web client, usually targeting older Java versions like 1.5.2 or 1.8.8 and using a websocket/proxy so browser players can join. They tend to be lightweight minigames, practice, or small survival, with features and plugins limited by the older protocol and the client’s constraints.
