Servers set up so players on different platforms can join the same world, usually by supporting Bedrock and Java together via plugins/proxies (or by being Bedrock-only Realms-style). The main idea is that PC, console, and mobile players can play together, sometimes with a few feature/command limitations to keep things compatible.
