Challenge survival servers are survival worlds with extra difficulty rules or custom mechanics, like harsher mob settings, limited resources, permadeath or lives, restricted crafting, timed goals, or special world modifiers. The focus is on completing challenges and surviving under constraints rather than relaxed long-term SMP building.
