Apocalyptic survival servers are survival worlds themed around a ruined or collapsed setting, usually with scarce resources, harsher mob pressure, and limited safe areas. They often use custom maps or worldgen with destroyed towns, wastelands, or abandoned structures, and push scavenging, base defense, and player factions or small groups trying to rebuild or control territory.
