dark1smp is a vanilla PvP SMP with a short grace period and clear protections to get everyone started. New worlds begin with a 1-hour grace period where PvP and griefing are disabled, plus a safe spawn zone where fighting and griefing are not allowed from (50, 50) to (-50, -50). After the first day, PvP is enabled with limits: End Crystals and Respawn Anchors are not allowed. Signed books act as contracts, hacked clients/duping/unfair mods are not allowed, and villager trading halls are protected from raids. The End is currently locked, and the world border is set to 20,000 blocks for tighter exploration.
