Servers focused on harder-than-vanilla survival, usually with buffed mobs, harsher environmental damage, reduced loot and resource rates, and extra survival mechanics like thirst, temperature, or limited regeneration. Often includes tougher progression and higher death penalties to make staying alive and gearing up a real grind.
