(2)Realism

Realism servers try to make Minecraft behave more like real life, usually with plugins or modpacks that add things like thirst, temperature, tougher injuries or healing, slower and more detailed crafting, and stricter survival mechanics. They often also tweak physics and world rules (harder mobs, limited carrying, seasons, no instant food healing) to make day-to-day survival more demanding and immersive.
