Pokemon-themed servers are usually Pixelmon or similar mod/plugin servers where you catch, train, and battle Pokemon inside Minecraft. They commonly have spawn areas with biomes for different spawns, gyms and badges, tournaments, trading, and a progression loop built around Pokedex completion and team building.
