Servers with multiple game modes run more than one distinct mode under the same network, like survival, creative plots, skyblock, factions, prison, kitpvp, or minigames. They usually have a hub/lobby with portals or menus to switch modes, and each mode tends to have its own world, rules, and separate progression/economy.
