Servers labeled “modpack” run a specific curated pack of mods (usually via a launcher like CurseForge/Modrinth/FTB) and require players to install that same pack to join. Gameplay depends on the pack, but it typically adds new items/blocks, progression systems, and sometimes custom quests or dimensions.
