Servers that use custom world generation or prebuilt maps to change the overworld terrain from vanilla, like amplified-style mountains, floating islands, custom biomes, or themed worlds. Usually focused on exploration/survival with a nonstandard landscape, sometimes using datapacks, plugins, or mods to generate it.
