Servers with this tag add a skill or leveling system on top of normal Minecraft, where you gain XP in things like mining, farming, combat, or magic and unlock perks, abilities, or stat boosts. It’s usually done with plugins or mods and often ties into RPG progression, custom items, and build specialization.
