Servers that add smarter, more interactive NPCs than vanilla—usually via plugins/mods. NPCs may have better pathfinding/combat, run scripted or dynamic quests, act as shopkeepers or companions, and sometimes use chat/LLM-style dialogue to feel more like real players.
