Servers tagged “increased difficulty” are survival-focused servers that make the game harder than vanilla, usually by buffing mobs, adding tougher custom mobs/bosses, reducing resource availability, tweaking hunger/health regen, or adding harsher death/punishment rules. The core gameplay is still Minecraft survival, just tuned to be more punishing.
