Servers tagged “enhanced biomes” usually run worldgen/datapacks or mods that overhaul biomes with new terrain shapes, extra vegetation/blocks, and sometimes biome-specific structures or mobs. The main draw is exploration and a more varied overworld compared to vanilla.
