Servers where major decisions are made by the playerbase—rules, punishments, feature changes, events, sometimes even leadership—usually through votes, polls, or elected roles. Day-to-day gameplay can be normal (SMP, factions, etc.), but governance is community-driven rather than purely admin-run.
