Brutal survival servers are survival-focused but tuned to be punishing, usually with harder mobs, less forgiving hunger/health, scarce resources, and extra hazards like tougher nights, harsher biomes, or more dangerous worldgen. They often add difficulty plugins/mods and may include limited safety features to keep death and progression meaningful.
