Authentic survival usually means mostly-vanilla Survival with the normal game rules and progression: gathering resources, building, fighting mobs, hunger/health, and exploring. These servers tend to keep plugins and tweaks minimal, avoid heavy economy or RPG systems, and try to preserve the default survival balance.
