Alpha servers are throwback servers that try to recreate Minecraft Alpha-era gameplay, usually by running an old Alpha/Beta jar or using plugins/mods to mimic old mechanics like classic terrain generation, limited features, old combat/physics, and a simpler survival loop. They’re mainly for nostalgia and retro survival building.
