HardcoreRewind Hardcore

Hey guys, I love Minecraft hardcore mode and have always wanted to find a way to play it with friends… Something where there’s the excitement and high stakes of solo hardcore mode BUT… with the fun of playing with other people. There are a lot of hardcore servers out there but they usually just impose a ban on death for X number of days and, to me, that is a poor replacement for what hardcore mode in Minecraft is supposed to be like.

So I started a personal project “HardcoreRewind” that’s a vanilla Minecraft multiplayer world where, upon death, all your progress is reverted. No stupid death ban. If you die, all your XP, stats, inventory, chest/echest storage, bases, farms, etc. are wiped and you start over.

I am sharing HardcoreRewind with friends now and they tell me that it is one of the most exciting, most challenging multiplayer vanilla experiences that they’ve tried.
