Hey everyone — I just launched 3D SMP, a semi-vanilla survival server built for people who want Minecraft to actually feel risky again.

The goal was to keep the core of survival intact without turning the server into some overcomplicated RPG. So the world is dangerous, griefing and raiding are allowed, and nothing is handed to you — but there’s still enough structure to keep things interesting.

What I wanted most was that feeling of building something valuable in a world where it actually matters. You can lose gear, get raided, rebuild, make enemies, make allies, get rich, and come back stronger.
