The Sandlot

The Sandlot is a family-focused Minecraft server that has been running since December 2011, built to give younger players a safer place to play. Run by a parent and former school teacher, it keeps chat clean with a strict filter and zero tolerance for swearing, abusive language, mature content, or attempts to bypass the filter. The Sandlot is whitelisted, with access granted through a staff-approved application that is checked against four Minecraft ban databases to screen out players with a history of abusive behavior. Game modes include a Normal-difficulty Survival world that is 100% legit (no spawned items), an Easy-difficulty world with a Jobs system and Shopping Mall, a Creative world, and PvP through arenas plus Hunger Games-style play.
