Towny SMP servers are survival multiplayer servers that use the Towny plugin (or similar) to let players claim land as towns and nations, manage ranks like mayor/resident, and control permissions. Gameplay is mostly vanilla survival with protected builds, optional economy, and diplomacy/war rules between towns.
