Modded survival servers run a modpack and keep the core survival loop, but with extra content and mechanics from mods like new ores, machines, magic, mobs, biomes, dimensions, and progression systems. They usually require a specific mod loader and pack (Forge/Fabric/NeoForge), and gameplay often revolves around tech/magic progression, automation, and modded exploration alongside normal building and resource gathering.
