HCF (Hardcore Factions) servers run a factions ruleset with harsher death penalties, usually a deathban timer instead of instant respawn, so fights and raids have real stakes. Players form factions, claim land, build bases, and PvP/raid for loot, often with kits, economy, and rules around raiding, traps, and combat logging.
