Exploration adventure servers focus on roaming and discovery, usually with custom worldgen or hand-built maps, dungeons and points of interest, and often quests or progression that pushes you to travel. The core loop is exploring, looting, and completing objectives rather than building-focused SMP or competitive PvP.
