Community living servers are usually small-to-mid sized SMPs where players share a town or base area, build close together, and lean on cooperation over competition. They tend to have shared farms and infrastructure, some basic rules against griefing/stealing, and a focus on social play and group projects rather than PvP or grinding solo.
