(7)Chunk Claiming

Servers with chunk claiming let players claim chunks (or similar land areas) so others can’t break blocks, open containers, or interact there without permission. It’s most common on survival and SMP-style servers to prevent griefing, usually with trust lists, team claims, and claim limits that grow with playtime or ranks.
