Star Trek MC is a Minecraft roleplay server set in the Star Trek universe, created in 2013. It builds an original timeline with missions set after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis, where players create their own character with details like race, name, and biography, and progress through a Starfleet career. The current roleplay edition (in development since July 2024) focuses on both day-to-day “passive roleplay” aboard the flagship and structured, gamemaster-led events that play out like episodes. Senior Staff assign tasks to officers to prepare for missions, and actions can be resolved with a /roll system. Progression is tied to a social credits system earned through roleplay events, divisional classes, completing tasks, and extra effort, with promotions based on reaching the required social credit level.
